Hope on Horseback Welcomes Nationally Recognized O.K. Corral Training Clinic
Hope on Horseback Hosts Nationally Recognized OK Corral Training Clinic, Welcomes Participants from Across North America
Waterford, PA – Hope on Horseback proudly hosted the nationally renowned OK Corral Series training clinic at its facility this past weekend, bringing together equine-assisted learning professionals and participants from across the United States and Canada.
The prestigious training attracted 14 participants who traveled from as far away as Washington State, Georgia, and Canada to receive advanced instruction in equine-assisted learning. The OK Corral Series is recognized nationwide for its innovative approach to personal growth, leadership, and emotional wellness through meaningful interactions with horses.
As part of the weekend, Hope on Horseback partnered with the Mercy Center for Women welcoming five residents to participate in the equine-assisted learning experience alongside clinic attendees. The partnership provided the women with an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and experience the healing connection between horses and people.
"We were honored to bring a program of this caliber to our community," said Amanda Shields of Hope on Horseback. "Hosting a nationally recognized training clinic not only highlights the quality of programs we offer, but also allowed us to extend these life-changing experiences to local women through our partnership with the Mercy Center for Women. It was an incredible weekend of learning, growth, and healing."
Hope on Horseback continues to expand its equine-assisted learning and therapeutic programs, serving children, adults, veterans, and community organizations throughout the region. By hosting nationally recognized educational opportunities like the OK Corral Series, the organization is strengthening its mission while positioning northwestern Pennsylvania as a destination for excellence in equine-assisted services.
